It makes sense. They had said before the NHL season even started that they weren't going to ride 1 goalie this time. I doubt we see Howard get any time though.

Using speed in the first two periods, all over Canadians, causing problems. Lets play a defensive game we arent suited for and keep giving them possession.

Refs have been bad this game. The whistle clearly blew before it went in the net. You cant just say well it shouldnt have blown so its a goal. But thats what they did.

Bylsma is over thinking himself yet again. Game one of the tournament you start your best goalie and go from there. Miller better start against Russia on Saturday, if he doesn't it proves that Bylsma is not the right coach for the job. Canada is also getting used to a new coach . He may be the difference . I think everyone here respects Dineen for the work he did in the Sabres organization.

US girls had a brutal third period till last 3 minutes . Reminded me of the Sabres . Need to play 60 minutes against good teams.
