Listen, I'm not saying women are equal to men when it comes to athletics.
My argument is it's asinine to say there will NEVER be a female goalie in the NHL.
It's the one position where a man's physical advantage isn't that big of an advantage.
Look at Ryan Miller(no, this isn't a shot at him)... he's 6'2, 168lbs. That's on the low end of what you'd expect a healthy woman of that height to be. That's an Adam French-type physique(yes, that is a shot at him).
Put him in a d-man or forward spot and he'd get obliterated... but he's one of the best in the net.

And I already said that there is a chance that evolutionary forces help (if not with a little help from us) bridge the gap and that it could happen, though if you think it will happen in our lifetime (we both being in our twenties and hopefully lasting to 70+) you're drinking more koolaid than a creationist. |

that was 1998... when she was barely ranked in the top 100 and was 17 yrs old .
rematch in 2002-3 would have been a different story... though his point about quality of competition is certainly valid.
If they started playing on the mens tour, would only have been a matter of time before they started to be decent I think. |

Gauthier is still quite young. He never flashed high offensive abilities. If he pans out to be close version of Patrice Bergeron with more size, i'll be more than happy. As long as his overall game continues to progress and he fills out his strength with his 6'5 frame.

His skating is nowhere near the ability of Bergeron. Not even close. He currently does not skate well enough to play in the NHL and has a ton of work to do to get there. |

Lol people twist words on here like crazy. I think a woman may make, itd be rare though if it happened.
Being a man isnt the same as treating your woman like a female dog. I never once stated id ever treat a woman like that. I just said she's gone all googly eye'd ever since I started acting like a man and not like a female dog 95% of married men become.
