I don't know why everybody is so pissy about this game. We won. The worst was listening to "The Price is Right" on my way to work. He made it sound like we LOST 8-0. I can't stand Blake Price at the best of times, but he sounded like a (frank)ing idiot going on and on about the game. The thing is with Canadian sports media (Vancouver in particular), they always put a negative spin on things. If we had beat Norway 10-0, they would still be complaining we didn't beat them 15-0.

While we didn't destroy Norway, they still had no hope in hell of winning this game. It wasn't even close. I think Babcock was more concerned about having the team figure out the system and each other than running up the score. Everyone goes on and on about goal difference, but if we win our first 3 games, it makes no difference we'll still get a bi into the elimination round. That's when this tournament will get real interesting. I think the USA is gonna be real scary.

One down, several to go...I didn't watch the game as I'm hard at work, but reading like we need some time to gel.
