Yup.

It was a long time coming though. Finland has been just dominating this game. It's been so lopsided...they're just doing whatever they want in the Ozone- backdoor is always wide open and they're free to cycle more than the Bruins when they play the Flyers.

I guess the Austrians aren't really a powerhouse by any means, but this Finnish team looks fast as hell and pretty dangerous.

He does hold dual-citizenship, and yeah, he gets to choose. He's Russian ethnically, and Alex Sr. repped Russia, so not surprising he went that way. And once you choose, I think the IIHF doesn't let you change allegiances.

A lot of those kinds of guys around: Couturier USA->Canada, Fowler Canada->USA, Heatley GER->CAN, Myers USA->CAN, etc.

I'm sure they all have different reasons, too. Identity is a strange and wonderful thing.
