I really like the USA roster. Several very good two-way players between 25-30 years old. This may be the best US roster in a while. Certainly, the forwards and goaltenders.

For me, so far, the thing I've noticed in the highlights and the game I watched on the DVR last night (Sweden vs. Czech Republic) is the defensemen joining the rush and pressing the play towards the opposing goal. I guess I'm impressed by that because I don't feel like I see a ton of that from the Flyers d-men.

It helps when you have forwards who back check hard, come back to help defenseman leave the zone and rotate back whenever a defenseman pinches.

The strength of this roster is the two-way depth. They can roll 4 lines without worrying about team defense. I think thats why they left guys like Ryan and Yandle off the team. I would have put them on and sat them on the bench if they felt that strongly about their defensive issues. The power play didn't look particularly good. Yandle would help in that department.

4 minutes left in the 1st and no score for Canada vs Norway. Team Canada seems to just be going thru the motions

I know Canada is going to win, but it would be nice to see them lose.

I see them breaking out for a big 2nd period. It takes a little while to adjust to the bigger ice.

I can't watch the game. For some reason I can't get the live feed from NBC even though I use Comcast.

Game's on USA Network if you have access to a cable.

Heard Comcast is having some glitches, and also locking people out of streaming altogether if they don't have a package that includes all the channels they're broadcasting on: MSNBC, NBCSN, USA and CNBC.

FWIW they have a much smaller population than Sweden or even Finland and apparently whatever athletes they do have go for curling or biathlon!

I am on the computer and its not letting me. Its very frustrating. I don't have the time to call them and wait 3 hours to speak with a representative.

Ill just game cast it. Periodic updates about level of play and standouts would be nice as well

You don't really need to be an athlete for Curling. It's a sport, but it's like being a first baseman in baseball.
