That's why I thought it was funny Lou got blamed for the Stanley cup finals when the whole team didn't play well, in fact he might have been one of the better players in the final. - Yeti1181
Yeah I agree... |

Sure. Tell you what, if it makes you feel better, I'll rephrase.
Canada won gold in 2010 because its group of forwards were far better than everyone else's, its defense was far better than everyone else's, and its goaltending was good enough. - prock
I just don't get why you think bobby Lou was so bad in the Olympics? |

Define bad? Its an Olympic tournament with the best in the world. No one there is bad, once you're past the round robin.
He just wasn't as good as his competitors. He looked shaky several games. In terms of the top goalies in the world, he's not among the best of that group. Wasn't then, and DEFINITELY isn't now.
Do you honestly believe he was top 2 or 3 there? Not a chance in my books. Miller was easily the best. I'd actually put halak up there too. He stole multiple games, and came close to stealing some more. |

Prospect Connor Brown hit the 40-goal mark tonight. With two points vs Barrie he now has 109 in 54 games played #Leafs #OHL |

So what did everyone think of Team Canada's black SS uniforms today? The red arm band really brought it over the top, eh! |

Miller, king Henrik, Halak and Lou were the four top goalies and from that I say miller and Halak are 1,2 and in that tournament Lou and Henrik were pretty equal. Russian and Sweden were the favourites going in I believe with Canada just shy of those two and then the states.
I would say he is still an elite goalie. |

I'm not gonna say Kunitz had a good game today, but he was just fine against Norway. Vlasic had a bad game, his transitional play stank, his outlet passes, to the Crosby fwd line no less were off key, he gave the puck up and the line was often hemmed in the cdn zone. Canada is 2-0, Crosby line has not made bad turnovers go the other way so let's just take a collective (frank)in deep breath. Kunitz often plays a role that smaller and less aggressive players will suffer at(retrieving pucks behind the line). It doesn't matter that they've played Norway and Austria and haven't ripped it up. Every line is gonna get a difference of chances and pucks are gonna go in for some and not for others. So until the games matter, ie. after Finland, come up with a better gripe. Lord knows Canada wins gold, everyone is gonna say how much Kunitz doesn't deserve matter.
Ps. Carter had a great stat game and made some decent plays, not comparing him at all to anyone but other than pocketing 3 crease goals, wasn't blown away, any idiot that calls his performance dominant cause of a hatty. Those 3 opportunities won't come up with that frequency again.

I get tired of hearing this. Give the kid some credit. He has played with McDavid, but they've been split up a lot since the acquisition of Brenden Gaunce. If you watch him play, you'd see how he controls the game himself. He's helped Gaunce be a better player too.
I've watched him and Matt Finn a lot this year live. I like sitting behind the players bench so I can see how they interact with their teammates. There's lots to like about both their games, some of which are things that stats don't show |

They could trade Raymond and not miss a beat. - burn
We would happily take Raymond off your hands. Do you think we could pry him away for a 3rd rounder? |
