i dont think a legitimate fight every now and then is awful. im not anti every sort of contact either. but the notion of just a goon type player is dumb. should something occur during a game and you have a guy like tyler kennedy and matt read go at it, thats passion and i get it.

i dont even think its limited to just the goon type guys. for whatever reason, the flyers do just seem prone to the unnecessary penalty at least once a game. even if its not of like a rough nature, just like an unnecessary hook or hold where its like what are you doing

Right. I mean I'm sitting here saying every single penalty on the Flyers is bullpoop. I mean if you stick someone in the face- whether you're Sean Avery or Wanye Gretzky- you're gonna get called for high sticks and other stick infraction.

since steroids have run rampant in the MLB i've watched far less than i used to in the past and a lot of the players have changed
