i used to follow the entire league religiously as a young boy, but now its pretty much just the phillies. its odd to not know all of the players on teams anymore, and to see all of the guys that you used to know either slowly retiring or already gone.

I had them pinned as a huge dark horse for this tournament. Not really a mindblowing prediction but I am not surprised they're playing this well

Benn didn't do anything stupid there. He's going in hard after the puck and has to put on the breaks, or he rams himself into the boards. Benn's back was towards the player the entire time. Should've been either checking from behind or boarding. It was a dangerous hit.

Both hits were illegal, including the one Benn took. It was blatantly from behind. He did nothing to put himself in a vulnerable position. Kukkonen should have and could have easily let up.
