What's that have to do with class? - Nucker101

I'm not worried about our D. I'm worried about our PP not coming through in a tight game. Dress PK as the 7th D-man and use him in offensive situations. Why dress a 7th like Hammer for defensive reasons? Makes no sense. - therealagent
With the top 6 we have you don't need PK for the PP. The only reason they need to dress a 7th D would be to fill in if someone got hurt and the guy they'd use in that situation is Hamhuis. |

Meh, a lot of people root for national teams with their favourite players playing for them. It's not that different from people cheer for another team other than their home city in non-international leagues. |

I've always heard that the French are uptight, but never could believe such a generalization.
This guy takes the cake though. |

I gotta admit, I'd feel a little more comfortable with Lu in net........ well not so much for Latvia, but for the semi's and finals.......
Anyone else feel that way? Hope I'm wrong. |

Well, if Price poops the bed tomorrow against Latvia we will likely score our way out of it. Then Luongo starts against whoever we meet in the semi finals. |

If Price lets in ONE goal against Latvia, he should be pulled and ride Luongo the rest of the way. |

So are you calling an 8-7 Canadian victory over Labia in a barn burner tomorrow? |

I'm not calling it, but wouldn't be against it. Also, my spidery senses are going off about the US getting upset tomorrow.

The Czechs are to lazy to beat the US, they have the talent, but not the will.
Edit: looking forward to Finland / Russia. |

It's just one game not a 7 game series. They may just be able to muster up the energy to do it. |

Anything is possible, like almost losing a 4 goal lead with 17 min left in the game.
The game could have a huge over/under, I'd say 11.5 |

Looks like Benn Getzlaf and Perry are all on a line tomorrow. I the look of the line; that's a big heavy line that's gonna be crashing the net. I feel sorry for Latvia's defence and look forward to seeing what they can do.
I'm also curious to what the Sharp Tavares Nash line is capable of tomorrow, as well |

Don't suppose you would be up for a prospect update anytime soon?
I can follow the big names but i have next to no knowledge concerning the later round kids of the last few years.
- Whiskey-Tango
Sorry for the late reply.
Yeah, I can put something together on the weekend—pretty steeped until then.
The ones I see most are the Comets guys, but I've watched Hutton the odd few times there has been a feed, and I've caught several OHL/WHL games involving Canucks prospects.
I've done some extensive "stat scouting" and read a lot of feedback about players I don't see as much and games I've missed, so I still have an idea of how a few guys who I haven't watched have played.
By "big names" do you mean mainly the OHL guys?
Either way, I'll try to put something together this weekend—just let me know which guys you plan to cover. |

Agree, I'm a big fan of Duchene, but would rather take out a guy like Kunitz rather than St. Louis - ya ya, I know, not much love for Kunitz, but he is simply not producing as expected - of course neither is Sid but out of the two you have to give Sid the benefit of doubt here)
I would also like to see Subban in - even just for the power play, how do you sit a Norris Trophy winner? even if it's just for specialty teams? |

2-1 Finland - VANTEL
Can't believe they lost. Putin's probably told security to let all the terrorists in now. |
