Can't believe they lost. Putin's probably told security to let all the terrorists in now. - Chest Rockwell

Agree, I'm a big fan of Duchene, but would rather take out a guy like Kunitz rather than St. Louis - ya ya, I know, not much love for Kunitz, but he is simply not producing as expected - of course neither is Sid but out of the two you have to give Sid the benefit of doubt here)
I would also like to see Subban in - even just for the power play, how do you sit a Norris Trophy winner? even if it's just for specialty teams? - Zogg
If Canada's only getting 1 PP a game what's the point? They do have Doughty, Weber, Keith, Pietrangelo, J-Bo. They could even throw a forward on the point for the PP if it's really a concern.
How effective would PK be for the 40 seconds of PP time midway through the 2nd period after sitting on the bench for an hour and a half? Hey PK, we know you're ice cold cause you haven't seen the ice since warm up, but go out there and be better for 40 seconds than Duncan Keith would be.
Hamhuis is there as the 7th D-man in case someone else gets hurt. That's the only need for the 7th D-man being dressed and Hamhuis fits the role better than PK does. |

Finland beating Russia is about as big an upset as the Seahawks beating the Broncos.
Defense wins championships. |

Duchene scratched for STlouis?? wtf is wrong with Babcock? - Scooby_Doo
Relax, Scoob.
Canada has a weak opponent today and it's a good opportunity to get guys like St. Louis and Kunitz in for a game and to keep a couple of the fringe guys hungry. Who knows, it Price struggles a little today we could see Lu on Friday?
Duchene will be in when it really counts against the US in the semi's. The US are fast and Duchene's jets with be brought in for that game.
I suspect that the line-up with see on Friday will be identical to what would be played on Sunday if Canada can get past the US. |

I don't like Babcocks coaching. He's made many decisions I'd make differently. |

Team Canada has not gotten out of 3rd gear yet. If they don't on Friday it'll be a showdown for the bronze.
This tourney is way tighter than it initially appeared on paper. |

Team Canada hasn't faced anything close to the offense the Americans will bring on Friday, but the Americans also haven't faced anything close to the defence and goaltending the Canadians will provide. I fully expect both to bring their A games. |

Should be a great game.
I say we up the stakes even higher: Loser keeps Justin Bieber! |

He got sent down to the AHL so he could play there during the Olympic break. Like most kids who are eligible. |

Hope so. Either way the semis have shaped up to be 2 local rivalries between 4 solid teams. Hopefully our game is the late game cuz I'd rather not wake up at 4:30a. |
