I still haven't settled on the fact, from what I have read it seems after the announcement the Rangers GM approached the Yzerman about a trade and it has spun from their. I am not denying or accepting it... it is as they say rumors as not one person has said they know for a fact it happened, they all say they heard it from inside the industry it might have happened.

I think a gold medal has made things easier but it's weird. He's always been a professional so to hear about this kinda threw me off. I think especially since we're competitive this year, he'll stick around unless it's a great offer. I'm sure he's still ticked about it, but not to the point where he's going to force a trade out. Could be wrong though.

yzerman can afford the price but knowing him I doubt he wants to do it. all are depth was needed this season with injuries! but the guy I want to see if he gets moved is bret connolly! I see a future with killorn,palat, johnson, vladdy, Kucherov and drouin but to me connolly just seems like he will get moved out.
