Colorado would definitely need to include an additional asset. Parenteau is good but not all that young. I would imagine they would want something to build around. IMO - crebar
What about Joey Hishon or Stefan Elliot? |

bolland + leafs 1st 2014 for st.louis?
as much as i love bolland, if he wants 5M that might be a litte too much when we are already paying clarkson a bit more than that, need bolland to take a bit of a discount. 4-4.5 MAX, heck i'd even give him 5 years. i'm sure yzerman would love him and easily give him 5M.
do the leafs dare trade another 1st? adding st.louis can't make the leafs any worse, so a mid round 1st and bolland for st,louis? the leafs can even add a conditional pick depending on whether or not the bolts re-sign bolland.
am i crazy? maybe a little biased? i don't know what else would work...gardiner seems like the logical choice but there is such a huge age gap... |

I think St Louis is a childish fool if he asked for a trade and I've lost all respect for him if true!! - LeftCoaster

I don't get why he the captain would want a trade when he has been carrying tampa all year and has been the main reason they are third in the East. |

Who would actually want to trade for this classless piece of garbage now? Walking out on the organization that gave you everything and your teammates who are ready to make a playoff push...Hurt the little shmuck's feelings and he will want out again - keatondixon

I could see Elliot, plus P.A., plus the pick. I really think Sakic and Roy will do something big at the deadline to insure Colorado keeps their playoff spot.
I also heard something about Radulov to CO after the season. Any truth to that rumor? |

pretty sure yzerman would let marty pick where he wants to go, and then get the best package he can get. similar to jordan staal when shero traded him.
that being said, who knows where he wants to play. most likely a top team like st.louis, chicago, pittsburgh san jose etc. i'm very interested in what the asking price is, it's not often you see a contender trading their star forward at the deadline. |

Not crazy at all. Great player with great leadership too. What would it take? Mez (tampa reunion), hartnell or read, plus a draft pick? |

Update. There are three teams in the metro division talking to Tampa about Marty St. Louis. It is no secret he has always wanted to play in NY but the Rangers aren't the only team in New York or within 90 miles of NY.

he has been the best canadian player since the last olympics. id be pissed too if i was left off the roster and my GM was picking the team. dont say size matters. this guy has been almost a point per game player as one of the smallest in the league his whole career. either way id prefer not to see marty go but now would be the best time to move him if we did to get the biggest return. - boltsfan48
I wouldnt go that far. |
