I would rather Foligno than the 30th or 31st pick. - Jeropotato
so would they id assume
no way i deal perron unless i feel im getting some grit and tenacity back. love to add foligno, but it'd be tough to let perron go.
we need more of him, not less.
ive been on the myers wagon for ages. but ima disagree vehemently with those that think we only have one major hole. the size, grit, physicality and defensive acumen on the top 6 is not good enough to get it done long term. this group doesnt have it. we need at least one, maybe two additions imo.(two would move perron to the 3rd line)
while ill agree that a top pairing dman is be more essential to us right now if we had to choose one or the other, it'd still be foolish to create one hole to fill another
both myers and foligno in a package?? in that case, id probably pay pretty dearly |

If there's no bigger deal for established talent I wouldn't mind swapping picks with a team like New York or Columbus and getting a near ready nhl centre.
Our first for Columbus' first and Jenner
Our first for new yorks first and jt miller.
Mac t did say he preferred near nhl ready prospects over picks I believe. |

Shore, Kulikov and a pick or something for Eberle?
- Crazycaboose
Sad but I would pretty tempted to do that.
If Kulikov stays in NA and can play the right side Id say sure.
I would actually trade Eberle and Gagner + pick for Shore and Bjugstad.
Or Yak for Barkov.
One of Barkov or Bjugstad would have to come to Edmonton for Eberle/Yak.
Hemsky for Shore + conditional 2nd rounder. Of course you would never give up a prospect for a rental.
Gagner for Shore + 2nd rounder. Bit of a bargain for you but right now I am done with Gagner.

Check the Flames thread...
After Whip went ballistic over me saying no to Eberle for scrub deals....then he's on their thread saying no to John Gadreau and Kris Russell for Tyler Myers and a 3rd.....because Gadreau is a 5' 7" 155 lb hobbit in College that is going to be "elite" in the NHL....
Talk about hypocrisy. |

I imagine it didn't really hurt STL to lose Stewart. 10th in team scoring and had pretty mediocre possession numbers for being on a powerhouse.
Carrier was a guy I'd hoped EDM would draft. |

Calgary radio has been pumping up this kid. Apparently he is on a scoring tear the college circuit hasnt seen in 20 years. In other words. Woopty-poop. |

He has a shot a being a good player. Chances are still slim. The radio has been pumping him ridiculously. He's on a stacked line on a great team. But the number of 5' 7" players that make the NHL let alone dominate? Extremely unlikely. |

Well, what the (frank), boys? Does today's events impact the Oilers at all? Does Buffalo keep Stewart or flip him to Ottawa? Do we have any interest? Halak? |

Goaltending wise Scrivenza seems to be the guys to go with now and hopefully in the future as well. Stewart from what I ve heard seems to be lazy and I don't think that would be good to bring here. |

we should have interest in him!! either way, heard rumblings of questioning enroth. im sure they try and resign halak.
buffalo keeps stewart for sure. him and the first are the main pieces of the deal for them. |

There's just too many rumblings about halak and Stewart maybe traded again. Would not surprise me if buf goes enroth and Hackett. One of Stewart, foligno, or stafford is available. |

of those 3 forwards, id choose foligno
Stafford and stewart are both more talented, but don't show upon a regular basis. we do not need that. stewart would prob cost more too.
a package of myers/ehhoff and foligno would make me very happy

100% Bubba. Would our Lottery pick be enough or would we have to add? |

I'd take foligno. He's on pace for 20 points. How high is his value really?

definitely have to add
I really have no idea how much.
gagner seems to be redundant for them. so does one of our defensive prospects.

higher than we think probably. he's no superstar, but def has the tools to be a power forward top 6 alongside some skill.
and hes a fan fav in buffalo |

Solid 3rd line guy with some offense he's on pace for 20 points on the sabres that's not as bad when you put it in the perspectives. |
