The trade deadline could be Christmas morning for the Sabres.
Ehrhoff, Miller, Moulson, Ott, Tallinder. Not sure who of those players will be traded, but any of them could bring back a decent return. - TheRollingPuck
Buffalo really could set themselves up for a monster of a draft. |

Well see the price is big for us too... You'd be getting him at a great price as we've all ready eaten up most of his contract. I don't know if you guys are on his top 8 though its a high possibility. I'd ask for something along the lines of a 1st and a high end mid carder. or a 2nd or 3rd and Eberle. - bluengold12
I'm guessing you mean bottom 8? |

For Errorhoff? I think so. Overpaid for 3 more years. - FLdevilsFAN
So...there is a comparable D that comes cheaper? The market on top 4 D command a minimum of 4 million. Not sure you'll find a free agent for less if that's what your team needs. |

Trading Miller, Ott, Moulson are obvious trades or also known as business trades you know there coming.
Trading Myers is a statement trade.
By trading Myers you're telling every GM in the league what type of GM you're going to be.
Conservative or Aggressive.
I want the Sabres to make the obvious trade but I also want the Sabres to make the Statement trade as well.
DO SOMETHING I'M NOT EXPECTING. - mike13wilkins
Rule number 1 is you don't do something just to shock.. Remember a guy named Chara?? He left his first team and turned out to be pretty damn good... Murray should have personal experience of that moment as it was his former team too. If I'm trading Myers its for someone like ROR or bust. Myers don't grow on trees. |

He only has to list the 8 teams he wont play for. It's easier than listing the 22 he would go to. |

I personally like his contract, lenght might be a year or 2 too long but value wise, its a good one |

Yeah that's what I meant my bad. It's probably a good chance EDM is in his 8 teams he wont go to. But if not I'd still do a deal. If you'd need sweetening I'd do something like Eherhoff and Stafford for Eberle and a 3rd rounder. |

For an owner that contract is gold. By acquiring him you are paying him less actual money than his cap hit.

I cant tell if your saying its a bad trade for EDM but I think its pretty fair. EDM needs a player like Eherhoff badly! Logs quality minutes and can help on the offensive front. Eberle is good but he isn't a frickin god! He's not Taylor Hall or RNH. Stafford would be a decent drop off from Eberle but Eherhoff would be a huge upgrade on D |

No to Stafford. Add Foligno. We provide a 2nd or 3rd. |

But it's what they should ask for - Byfuglien Ate Me
Yeah, I don't envision them netting that much. I can, however, see them getting respectable return, regardless of who they trade. |

I mean I wouldn't love getting rid of Foligno but if its a 2nd which will basically be a low end 1st in this draft I'd pull the trigger. Ehrhoff and Foligno for Eberle and a 2014 2nd round pick! Lets call our respective GM's and get the deal done! |

I used to think that Toronto, Vancouver and Sabres fans had the most unreasonable trolls. Durring the Olympics I expanded the list to Penguins, Flyers ,Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning fans. The Lightning has all of 12 fans on this site, and 8 of them are real beauties. |

I'd guess the Sabres (Not myself) Are expecting 1-2 round draft pick in 14' or 15' A roster player be it semi decent D-Man or young promising offensive talent and a prospect. I tend to agree to that somewhat. Ehrhoff types don't come around too often - bluengold12
He would be a good fit for the Flyers. I imagine they'd be willing to part with a first round pick for him. |

Well, actually, we need to acquire said 2nd, so it will likely be low end or middle of the pack. If it were pick 31-35 like you hoped, I wouldn't do it. |

Would need more than a 1st round pick for him on a team that fringes on playoff boarders. I'm not super familiar with your teams prospects because I never really figured us as trade partners before but adding in the right prospect in the deal I'd consider it |
