This team has literally never been truly good, save miracle run, in the 20 years I've been a fan.

Fuk them

Nashville is likely to try to assign Dubnyk to the AHL when Rinne returns, according to sources

It's frustrating. I've been a fan slightly for slightly less long that that, and it hurts to see this team lacking in heart. I think of those teams in the late 90s and 2000s as teams chock full of guts let down by a management that's unable to bring in talent.

Now it's the opposite. Tons of talent, and in theory a management ready to spend, but no heart.

Ya man, the fishing in Alberta sucks so I get a sask fishing licence and go there. I'm surprised you don't need to pick up a Manitoba licence. I've never fished there tho so what the (frank) do I know.
- HouseArrest187

I'm pretty sure it's the only lake in Manitoba that allows Sk lisences tho. They probably got sick of all us from SK playing the I thought mine worked here bull poop

Is it Vegas rules when ice fishing? What happens in the ice shack, stays in the ice shack?
- ruttager17

Yes it is, don't forget stripping into your undies and running around on the open lake

Yeah, it seems clear to me that at least one of

Hall
Nuge
Eberle
Yakupov
Gagner
2014 1st round pick

needs to go. If it's Gagner, likely we need to add significant picks/prospects

- Morris

Just one? Ah man, can we make it more please?!!?

Only one I can see being dealt in Gagner. Who knows, anything can happen.

I remember those good ol' days. Teams hated coming to Edmonton. They knew that were going to get out skated and out hit on every shift. Great playoff battles with Col/Dal. I miss those teams.

I was alive and watching when I was a little tyke to see the tail end of the dynasty teams, but what really got me to be a true fan of the Oil were the courageous low-seed upsets against Colorado and Dallas. Fantastic goaltending from CuJo, and a balls-to-the-wall attitude that I loved.

I might prefer we don't force a trade and get our man in FA instead. It really depends on who's available.

All I know is I just looked over the NHL depth charts, and I see approx. 65 dmen on par with or better than Petry (who I guess is our best dman).

It's gotta change.

We need to have a talk about all the things that are wrong with that statement, as I have made it my personal mission to see that you make it to 40.

I'm worried that Mac-T will keep making these little moves and we will continue to suck a$$ for years to come.

I'd be prepared to move those pieces, but it depends on what's out there.

For that price, I would want our #1 Dman issue permanently solved, and likely also some improvement on the two-way centre front.

Well if they're prepared to spend to the cap, why not throw Markov 6 million dollars on short term? Gagner + 1st should get you a very solid dman as well.

Overpay for a couple depth forwards too. Whether through trades or signings, there's no cheap solution to this problem.

I'm shooting for 60... If I make it that far I feel I've won.

Also I do realize booze doesn't actually warm you up, it does the exact opposite. It restricts blood flow and makes your hands and feet freeze faster...

I watch mythbusters...

I would call up Nashville and say here you go, we would like Weber and Spaling.

Bolland looks like he's due for a Clarkson like UFA offer....

Ya know what, I am not gonna even correct that and add a bunch of technical crap. That could save ya from dieing while ice fishing with uncle Jeb's moonshine. We have to get you to 40, before looking at 60. Baby steps sir, baby steps.

Like making it, or watching and masturbating to it is hard on the ole ticker? Pretty sure he lives a lifestyle that is healthy on the cardiovascular system, so he should be able to take the stress.
