One side of me wants MacT to trade a bunch of players so we can see what we've got in a bunch of our prospects. Another side of me hates the idea of moving any of the few legit NHLers we've got. But imagine if some of our forwards prospects could pull a Marincin:

Hall- RNH- Yak
Perron- Arco- Eberle
Horak- Lander- Pitlick
Hendricks- Gordon- Jones

In case you've missed it, that 3rd line has been tearing up the AHL since January and I'd like to see what they can do together up here in the show. All three of them bring different skillsets along with solid two-way games so they could be feasable as a bottom-6 line.

With the exception of Jones (who I'd ideally replace with Moss through UFA), it looks fine to me. I'd make a slight revision in that I'd swap Gordon and Lander's places (assuming he gets a trial run this season and does well). Just for the sake of clarity, we're all pretty much on the same page with who we'll target to fill those holes, right? Winnik and/or Kulemin for the open LW slot and one of Jokinen, Legwand, Ott, Goc, Grabovski, or (don't crucify me for this) Stajan.

Then some actual NHL Dmen, of course.

Oh, that's what I intend. Not incredibly soft minutes as I'd like to see the extent of their two-way game, but fairly soft. Gordon's and Hall's lines will still be doing the heavy lifting.
