I hate to say this as he's one of my favourite players, but I'm beginning to be totally OK with trading Eberle. He doesn't do enough unless he's with Hall and/or Nuge and he's likely held in the highest regard of any of our young guys- besides Hall. - MaximumBone
I like Eberle but I have say this before the Hall/Nudge/Eberle line will not survive to small and if one needs to go is Eberle,Because he will bring the better return. |

This is an un-winnable debate for either side. - MaximumBone
I'm just going by last season improvement that should have continue this season |

Eberle is a great complementary player but he should be moved to improve the defense. I know he's not a hot shot number one dman but I think yandle would help our pp and move everyone down a spot on the d core |

But last season they had Devan Dubnyk saving shots at a rate of 92% while being even more badly outshot on a consistent basis. |

the first team in history that took a step back from the year before.
the first team in history who was projected to be better than they are

I don't disagree with you. I mean, we may have to resolve ourselves to taking a lesser (albeit not a huge drop off) Dman as there don't seem to be any top-2 Dmen that are or will be available. Alternatively they can pursue a really deep D corps so that, rather than having a #1 #2 and #3 pairing, they have a #2A #2B #2C pairings all playing around 16 minutes at even strength/night. |

u can repeat the same platitudes over and over and over and over. u can be as obtuse as often as you want and think it's clever instead.
but your easy answers are wrong. the ones who understand this team know it's much deeper than just a coaching problem

you mean 89,83,14,94 and the 2014 Number 1 Pick. - AlEx_OiL
4,14,64,83,89,93. Can only keep two! Those 6 players are all the same and this organization can't move forward with them and expect to win.
I understand 83 is apparently getting traded. I have no idea what's happening with 89, but he needed to go 3 seasons ago. So of the remaining 4, they can only keep 2. This team needs a mix of styles, not all danglers that all seem to love to pass. |

nuge is the only center.
id say due to that alone (plus other reasons) he's almost as inexpendable as hall
and then dealing BOTH of our right wingers, takes us from a position of strength to weakness.
id say one of the right wingers would suffice.
but even adding a big crashing left winger and a much better 2 centermen could do it alone imo. and keep all of said forwards |

Hall or Nudge sure have better return than but Eberle can be replace by Yak,but there's not another player on this Oil team that can replace Hall or Nudge,so to me is Eberle the one to go. |

No, but I think he meant of the moveable players. Hall and RNH are virtually untouchable. |
