Grossmann is having another bad stretch. He seemed to be turning a corner in late Jan/early Feb, but his game has gone down into a slump again. That said, having him in the playoffs when battles at the net turn games, I like having him.

That being said, he will be an asset once the games begin to slow down.

Yup, he's seemed a bit off since the Olympic break, not using his body as much or getting inside position. Hopefully he's just taking a bit longer to warm up.

I think beating the Bruins would be a tall task, but not impossible. We already know the Flyers can beat the Penguins in a series.

i think that would also be a tall task. MAF was a huge reason why they were able to win...and i don't think he's going to suck in this year's playoffs. just a hunch.

He's in there to do that exact job. Even if he needs to take a penalty, you can't let Johansson, a skilled player, get a shot from there.

Man, Modry. Felt so bad for him. I wanted to root so hard for him with what he was going through, but God he was awful.

It's a good move for them. He's a skilled guy and they gave up middling draft picks to get him. He'll get a real chance on a line with a talented kid.

if by stop battling you mean gliding around aimlessly, out of position, no sticks on the ice and letting the opposition enter the area without so much as looking at them, then yes, i agree.
