Mason has been amazing to me. Really have fallen in love with him. I fully expect him to be traded because of it. - Flyersgod
Mason's been exactly what we needed: a stable, consistent, reliable goalie. He wasn't expected to be the next Hasek, he was expected to make the saves he's expected to make and come up with some big saves from time to time. He's done that, and he earned that extension. |

I see the Bruins as the clear-cut favorite, going against one of Philly/Pitt/NYR in the ECF because it's fairly wide open. But when it comes to LA/Anaheim/St. Louis/Chicago, I can't see the SCF going longer than 6 games. - jmatchett383
The Rangers are my dark horse team. I hate them a lot, but they will be a tough playoff matchup because of their style. They finally have some scoring and a decent PP to go along with defense and goaltending. Plus, Staal has really bounced back. |

That scares me. Homer loves centers. - Flyersgod
Injury prone, soft and slow.
I will be happy to see another team pick him up if something does down. These kind of rumors come up every time near the deadline though. Just the media boys trying to gain viewers.
Im hoping its a big dud of the day and they are sitting there with nothing to talk about. |

I'd like to see St. Louis myself. I have always liked Backes, and Miller has been a good soldier on a poop team for a long time. I hope they take it, but any team coming out of the West will be beat up. - flyer_nutter
STL has been my "Western"/"Second" team since Pietrangelo came up. Love him. |

Heres to hoping Callahan reups with NYR on a Richardsesque type of deal. Take your pick Mike or Brad |

This refrain has been chanted here a few times, but I'll repeat it.
If Homer was adamant against trading Coots and/or Schenn in a deal for Weber, I think they'll be Flyers for a very long time. - Giroux_Is_God
He was adamant about not trading them both in the same deal, apparently. |

Agreed, they seem to have it all figured out. That said, there are 5 powerhouse Western teams that could all beat any of the others. |

Have to be careful with guys that play the game with such a hard style.
Even M Richards, and Kesler and starting to show signs of decline imo. |

and hopefully they'll beat the poop our of one another on the way to the final, and the remaining team will be decimated, just like it used to be back in much of the 80s and 90s for the east. meanwhile, edmonton would waltz into the final. still pisses me off. |

But like you said- that's gonna be great hockey with the likes of Ana/STL/LA/Chi all fighting it out |
