So has everyone calmed down a bit since the San Jose game? IMO I really like how Meszaros is looking. I might look to resign him to a 1 year 1.5 mill deal if he is willing. - SchennBros
Have you seen this weak ass UFA dman class? Some desperate team will offer 2 million+ per for more than one year. |

Matt Moulson not at morning skate. I hear the Red Wings, Penguins, and Kings are interested, but the price is too high. Also hearing interest from the Blues, Flyers, Devils, Blackhawks, and Rangers, but the cap is an issue. Also hearing interest from the Sharks, Ducks, Stars, and Oilers, but they are just driving the price up. Sources indicate that the Hurricanes, Bruins, Lightning, Canadiens, Flames, Avalanche, Panthers, and Wild are interested. - jmatchett383

I could see Kelser and Edler getting reunited with Vigneault... Rangers certainly have the right pieces to get it done.... I'm sure Torts would love to get some of his old favorite guys back under him too. - Tomahawk
I doubt Kesler wants to play for AV again. |

The #Flyers love affair with Ryan Kesler worries me. Remember when they signed him to an offer sheet in 2006?
Me too...gotta be honest |

He'd be a good fit for them. Give them that 1-2-3 they had when Staal was there (Kesler better than Staal). Pens really need forward depth and a big body. Kesler would fill both those needs. The only problem is that his acquisition would cost a lot and give them very little cap space this offseason. - PhillySportsGuy
Their cap situation will be a nightmare if Letang has to start the season on LTIR due to his stroke. 10% of the cap going on a player who won't be on the ice. |

If he moves I think Pens are front runners, but I think if anything Flyers are a wild card cause
A) You dont know there motivations...whether to trade for Kesler or drive up price on rival Pens
B) When they "fall in love with a player" they normally get him at some point in his career
C) They dont need him and he doesnt fit the roster, but that has never stop them before
D) Vancouver also has Edler who we do need and apparently they are willing to trade in right package, so they could bundle a guy they love with a guy they need..maybe its to enticing to pass up |

Did I miss anything?
Did we trade young assets for Kesler, Edler, or Gardiner?
Has anyone been attacked by spiders or praying manti?
Anything else? |

Nope, all is quiet. Nothing to see.
Also LOL @ 1.5M for Meszaros. |

I doubt he'd take it. Even if he did, I don't think he has a spot on the team. Guy has offensive flare for sure, but he's a disaster in his own zone. |

I still think it's stupid that players over 35 when they signed, count on the cap regardless of their health.
If teams were circumventing the cap... Why approve the ducking contract? - Flyersgod
Players over 35 when they signed, can be placed on LTIR like any other player. And now with the new contract variability rules in place, the over 35 rule is not as important. But it certainly was in the last CBA. |

That makes sense. Its easier to find a #2C than a future Selke candidate.
That being said, I don't want them to move either unless its a no brainer. |
