well the Oilers are a (frank)ing mess from top to bottom, no matter how much that Robin Steele character tries to convince everyone on the site that they're a step away.

Please keep ignoring what we're saying. It makes discussing the issues so much more fun.

Lol. He obviously doesn't see that Gallagher doesn't go out and lay dirty hits and yap like kadri does. Gallagher gets under skin because ppl can't keep him from the net no matter how hard they push him. I would bet that if you took out Habs and leafs fans probably 8/10 would take gally of that punk Kadri.

I'm thinking the Oilers may have picked the wrong coach.
From what I saw on TV from time to time, he comes across as an arrogant Junior coach, coaching arrogant Junior players.

not a good fit imho.

Interesting point; I never really looked at it that way. I thought Eakins did a good job with the Marlies and thought a "work ethic" kind of coach would succeed in Edmonton.

I am not sure ANYONE could succeed with that group at the moment.

I mean, the threshold hasn't been reached at $13,100. Maybe they're all waiting for an offer to ship them for free.

It is humorous.

I also find it funny though that ANY type of weather can apparently be argued to be the result of global warming.

It is tough to be living in the worst winter I can remember (and I grew up in the 70's) and then hear it attributed to global warming.

Not sure to understand why Bergevin should trade a forward for a defenceman.

I think this team needs much more a winger to play with Plekanec than another defenceman.

What do you think of Burrows?

- sEb_666

I like the idea. His value is at its lowest right now, could be a good time to see if he's available.

I heard the other day that this is the coldest winter in Toronto in 30 years.
