Could be. I don't think he's overqualified for 3rd line minutes. I mean, he's pretty much a third liner here, even if we don't call it that. As for Murray, he is what he is. He brings certain things to the table and he does them well. He's slow, he's clumsy and he has zero offensive upside. But that's not what he's around for.

not trolling, serious question.

is he able to close guys down in the corners? i know he can be physical but it seems guys would have to be right on top of him.

I don't know why peanut is laughing...I'm not saying he's the best player in the NHL...
- TouenneTiiTree

Where is Peanut laughing?

Edit: I see now. He's laughing because he's a Leafs fan.

I don't care. Point is, he isn't bringing back a 2nd rounder.

I had other qualificatives in mind, but they're all interchangeable.

Hey, we hated the Gill signing, but he grew on us.
- _nay_

No he didn't...he was that tall when he was signed.

No, that's not why. In the end, that may be what happens, sure.

Paul Gaustad got a first round pick. You never know what a GM will do.

Pathetic that Gauthier traded Kostitsyn to NSH first, and could only get back a 2nd rounder.

Paul Gaustad is a "specialist" at something. Gionta is a goatee specialist.

Guys good news... per Eklund's logic, if Markov is not traded and he walks this summer, we get something very valuable in return...the cap space he would otherwise take up...

Seriously, I doubt many of them know what they will do.

Look at Bergevin, always talking about his plan...the future...the importance of picks...not deviating from the vision...

So the vision and the plan involved a (frank)ing washed up smallish D-man?

...oh, I forgot he shoots right-handed...that makes it ok.

Since yesterday evening, seems things have picked up with Habs. Again, no guarantees, but they're exploring multiple options on trade front.

At least there's a possibility of Bourque moving.

We'd have to sweeten that deal.
