Fyi: 6628 is associated with Blackhawks for a very long time. He would not want to say more about that. I have met him at games a few times and I know he is a knowledgeable source. He had been complemented on this board previously. He has insight into technical aspect of playing hockey, such as goaltending and skating in this forum over the years.

He's as cool as the other side of the pillow... Actually, Zues gets hammered here a lot, but the team tends to win with him in. To me, that is more important than how many points the second line (or Kane) gets. Regin is 0-for-2 so far, in a very small sample size. We'll see how that goes, but I'm not gonna get all cray cray if Zues is the 2C. If the team also wins with Regin in the lineup, that's all the better. This was not directed at you, Elbows, just general chatter...

I did see that. I was struck, though, by Stan saying teams aren't even calling him because they know he's set. And then we have the rumors of plenty of talking (which I believe much more than Stan's statement). Just seemed Stan went further than necessary to say he's not expecting a trade, and I thought I'd ask him about the incongruity.

Maybe just a slight change of nuance (?), but I thought Stan said he wasn't getting calls because other teams knew he wasn't going to deal off of the roster.
