He is rather douchy....I think their assessment of the bollig contract shows they have no clue to what the value of a contract is now versus when it has been fulfilled. - UnnamedSource
I think it's more that they have such a big hate-on for Bollig that no matter what he does, he'll be a cementhead hack in their eyes. Never mind the guy's major improvements or Q's eagerness to use him in many situations. Some people are more stubborn than others.
I also think there's some anti-fighting animosity that rubs off on Bollig too, since he came into the league using his fists more than his stick. |

US's guy, Mike Milbury (who does not appear to have any shoe marks on his head ) is hammering Torts on NBCSN for not playing Lu in the Heritage Classic. Says it is no wonder Kesseler wants out with the coach making decisions like that! Implosion coming in Van City, and carnage will ensue. |

Since we are talking about other sites, where did everyone start? A lot of old-timers here might have the same history. 1st message board I tried was probably around 1997? It was called plaidworks out of san jose. A guy Frank29 was on there then starting blackhawkzone. That was great. As was biscuit babble on the blueline website. Hopefully this won't cause trouble since these are very old sites |

I don't think its the same. There are two hawks related items with that name. Or very similar. But yes. The really fun is when you disagree with him. You get attacked by his fans. Since I joined here, I rarely even read it anymore. The posters in here are way more knowledgeable and objective. For the most part. |

Just expanding the misspelling to silly lengths and conflating Kesler with Kessel... |

Its amazing how a guy like Bollig works on his game and shows major improvement but Brandon Pirri Taffe is loved and admired for something he isn't and hasn't shown anywhere near the improvement B52 has..... |

Especially since he has maybe 2 fights all year. And his coach has him out on the ice in late game situations.

At this point its all the same, I'll only do this until the deadline is over...
It's just that if somebody is obsessed with a guy, it'd probably be the right idea to learn how to spell his name... |

Well said. The guy has gone from a part-time scrapper to a regular whose coach isn't afraid to have on the ice when Sidney Crosby is out there (as happened Saturday). The guy is a sound NHL hockey player - certainly not a star, but someone who belongs for sure. |

Always read articles and posts on the internet, never got around to properly posting things anywhere until 2007 or 08 on throwaway accounts on various sites. From slogging through the sh*te ESPN comments for gamedays for a couple years, I eventually made it here.
Started lurking here for the first Cup run, eventually made an account when i headed back over here for grad school, as i knew nobody really was that arsed with hockey from my first tour over here. |
