It's crap. Like I said, once you demand a trade, your right to refuse any trade should be void. NTC is designed to prevent a player from being traded, unexpectedly, to somewhere he doesn't want to go, not to give the player absolute control. - Ogilthorpe2
I'm jumping in here with some trepidation...
If you are referring to St.Louis....He has the most restrictive of all trade clause a NMC...He has to okay any move anywhere.
So whether they come to him or he goes to them it doesn't really matter...He controls if and where he is going. |

Hello, Mr. Line Buster.... - mohel
Meh. That is all I have to say about it. Unfortunately, I am also aware it doesn't work that way. |

I don't think so, and Al suggested earlier that he wouldn't be. I guess it is Saad to the first and Regin and Zues to 2C and 3RW. - mohel
Interested to see how Regin looks after an extended period of playing time. |

True, but he doesn't have the contractual right to force a trade. Most of the talk was of Kesler, and whether a guy who demands a trade should still have the right to choose the destination. |

It's a good read, and kind of topical with regard to intervening/not intervening in international affairs. Written using primariy the memoirs of the American Embassador to Germany in the mid-late 1930's. |

The key is recognizing when and when not to get involved: which bad guys are really Hitlers and which are merely bad guys who, if you force a regime change, are just replaced by other bad guys.
Didn't read that Larson book, but read his book on the Columbian Exposition and Chicago's serial killer. Good read: not sure I knew about Dr. Holmes before that book. |

From what I heard that's not exactly the way it went down...
Chatter is he had a sit down and asked about his future with the team. It evolved into being open to a trade but most naturally it has to be to a place he wants to go to.
No player has a contractual right to force a trade but they can control a lot of the factors involved. |

Pretty much. If they Hawks don't add anyone by Wednesday, maybe someone will be called up then. |

Really can't see that move at all Phil. Marty was great but he is done, imo. |
