 - philco28
Could be Regin at wing and Zues at center. |

More difficult to play center...More skating involved. Q will probably keep Regin in the middle and he has used Zeus at wing before.
If Morin is still here on Thursday maybe he or someone else will be called up and Zeus can rest. |

Didn't Marty also snub us a few years back...believe he turned down a 2 year/$8 million deal if memory serves. Can't blame him though. He's LOYAL to NJ and i respect that.

I don't think there will be any significant trades period. Sure, there will be some movement but no Kesler-type deals will happen. |

There you are...
Marty St.Louis is doing the same. Has a no trade clause, demands trade, but will not approve trade to anywhere but NYR? That's extortion. If you demand a trade, your negotiated right to veto any trade should be null and void. - Ogilthorpe2
Are hockey players going to start the BS of "I demand you trade me only to..." like the spoiled children in the NBA? |

I'm starting to think it will be a typical boring deadline. Sure a lot of trades on wednesday but mainly 4th liners for 3rd and 4th round picks. GMs are wimps, afraid of pissing off fans with bad trades |

I agree. It started out with a lot of promise, but I don't see any big deals. I really feel sorry for the TSN crew. What is it like 8 hours starting really early with nothing to talk about? |

TSN always finds a way to hype up the TDL and put on a good show. There doesn't have to be any actual trades for the TDL to be a good day. It's all about fun and talking about the "what ifs". |

Speaking of books about history. If you haven't read. "At Dawn We Slept". you should give it a read. - Elbows15
I don't believe you can consider yourself a man if you've not read that one. |

Agree on this...If you want to be moved your choices shouldn't be limited. However its in the CBA is it not. Why give the player the NMC in the first place?
Something which Stan does quite often.
I stopped watching hoops once the Jordan Bulls ended.
Doubt the Hawks do much here at the TDL, but one can always hope. Colorado at the UC tonight. Looking forward to this evening.
Interesting article by Lazarus in the Sun Times yesterday regarding Peter Regin...

Allot of times a player will reduce hsi salary demand for the security of a NTC or NMC. In a cap world the GM has to be creative. |
