OK...can we please stop with all these rumors?

I am by no means a fan of Bickell, but if the Hawks trade him, who is going to replace him on the 3rd line? Who outside of Bolig has size? Nobody.

The Hawks aren't going to make a major trade. It's not in Bowman's DNA. He already added Versteeg. His previous deadline moves for those for Chris Campoli, Handzus, and.....I can't even remember.

So Kesler, Staal, Brodeur, etc wont' be coming here anytime soon. Maybe they add a veteran banger or a depth D man...but that's it.

It sucks...but reading all this crap about they should be in on THIS guy or THAT guy...well....it's not happening.

And as far as the magical Eklund goes, the guy has Philly ties. So of course the Flyers are all over everything. 90% of everything he reports is crap. Go back and look at Kesler to Columbus who he stated he wasn't sure why everyone was downplaying Kesler to Columbus...and then a few hours later a notable site said Kesler wouldn't waive to go to Columbus....so there you have it.

You can mark that down as an E5.

They have 837K in cap space....show he how they make a trade for somebody worthwhile.

To get Kesler they would have to give up 2 roster players...and how does that work out? It doesn't.

Do you want to give up Bickell for an aging Brodeur who may never see a playoff game?

Come on....is this team perfect? hell no...but I'm not the GM who put them in the cap hell they are in TODAY. That's on Stanley and he's looking to catch lightning in a bottle with Regin...and maybe he does....but most lkely he won't.

OH....and unless they waive or send down somebody, they can't even add TT to the roster because they don't have the room.

It're more than many. The majority of Canucks fans believe there is a conspiracy and the league is tilting things in favour of the major US markets. They don't look at their own GM who is methodically destroying their team, they blame Bettman.

That was Darren Dreger. Too bad he backed down when Eklund called him on it.

That's about what I figured they would be. We'll see if Regin is a fit for the 3C spot.

This is a new low. Talk about weak doewn the middle. Zus & Regin are 4th line centers on mediocre teams AT BEST.

THIS is why we need a real 2C. We're stuck with this poop until Hoss returns. And what if he doesn't, or if another top 9 forward gets hurt?

We could very well end up in third behind Blues & Av's. One injury and our "depth" is immediately lost.

Gillis is a bad GM. That team has rocketed south in a hurry and Luongo just continues to get toyed with. I am shocked the guy hasn't gone postal yet. I would have.

No wonder Kesler wants out.....can't blame him. Where is the greatest D man ever to play? Where is Kevin Bieska? They were ready to build that guy a statue back in 2011....saying how he was better then Keith, and all sorts of fun stuff.

Since the Hawks aren't going to be doing much in the next 27 hours...maybe I should head over there and see how Dshiddy and CanUSA are doing......

If you do, here's a suggestion - take the stance that all the trade proposals for their guys are too slanted toward Van. They take that well.... Also, ask how there is room on a "truculent" team for the biting, hair-pulling Burrows. Enjoy!

Someone yesterday tweeted that Corey Potter would be a nice depth add for the Hawks. He's on waivers today. Surprised that Ottawa put Conacher on waivers. Joe Corvo too, but that guy would scare me if he was patrolling the blue line for my team.

Our minimal cap room obviously allows for MY-NUTE maneuverability. Any move is likely internal.
