Cynics want everyone to see the world as depressing they do. It's frustrating because the Hawks haven't played one bad game against the Avs this year. |

A poop play by Duncs...a poop night for C2...no second line....and some suspect officiating leads to yet another Colorado win in a game in which they had no business winning. Whatever, their luck will run out someday. |

Yes, this. And also so they can prove to everyone they were "right all along" |

Well, with this performance the Hawks have locked up 3rd in the division.
Sure would have been nice if the Stanley Cup champs could've played .500 hockey against Colorado, St. Louis, and the Wild this season.
Bad... - ArlingtonRob
I suspect you are correct.
And Blues beat TB 4-2. Both games for Miller - 2 early goals, locked it down the rest of the game, gave his team a chance to come back.
Play-offs are a completely different kind of game - we have to hope. |

Yeah they did....Varlamov was hot, but we got 2 by him.....game tied, under 10 minutes left and a bull schlit call on Oduya decides it. Crow was MEH though, but the refs decided this one. - philco28
Not even close to what happened. Things tend to even themselves out over the course of a season, so crying about the refs is useless. Worry about the things that you can control. In that game, it was Crawford that let the goals in and the offense/defense that didn't put enough in on the other side. Refs had nothing to do with that. Game was reffed just fine, it is the NHL, suck up and deal with it. |

Acquiring Rundblad gives Stan options to move a defenseman (ie Leddy) as part of a package to get a centre. I'm not saying Stan will make a move tomorrow but it becomes easier to do so if he has the opportunity. |

Alright, then they have a hole somewhere else. Maybe they can make it happen, but this whole entire salary cap thing can be a pain. Salary Cap. Learn it. Get used to it. |

Whats the guess? Another trade coming? This trade for D from the Yotes is odd. Leddy moving then? Seeing Booby Lu get moved means the Nuckers are in rebuild mode. I wouldnt mind seeing kesler here. Great fill for the #2 C. Hard nosed nasty player. Can dream I guess.. |

Hawks can feat these guys in a play-off series: tighten up the defense just a bit, Crawford be just a bit better, more net presence, win some 3rd periods. |

It's going to be incredibly frustrating if Stan decides to stand pat tomorrow. Outside of the outdoor game, this team has played some truly uninspired hockey as of late. |

So Leddy departs and is replaced by a scrub who's played 18 pro games this year ?
Pete Regin could have competition for Mr. Irrelevant

Refs gave them that game! Why waswthe icing waved off at the end? And Talbot abusing an official, WTF is that? - powerenforcer
All I know is that the Hawks are now 2-6-3 against the Blues, Avs, and Wild.
That's a lousy record and they deserve 3rd in the division. |

Leddy only played 12 1/2 minutes tonite, including 1:30 on PP.
Q still does not like his game that much. |

I am at the point (and I have said this before so don't say it is sour grapes after a loss), if this FO does not solve the #2C, then I would really consider seeing what Kane and Hossa can get you, because they are wasting away in the current situation. It makes the rest of the team have to play alot harder than it has to, basically being a line weak.
Maybe their return can provide a better overall 2nd line than they have now. |

In reality, pretty much no NHL game is reffed fine, and this one was no different...especially late, but it's not the reason they lost. |
