Read +picks +other prospects isn't going to land you a top Dman. Maybe a top 9 fwd, but then why move Reader + for a top 9 player in the 1st place? - Pixote Andolini
What lands a Buff type dman then? |

All these deadlines and draft days are pretty boring anymore. Almost not worth the time paying attention. |

Some package that would not improve the Flyers overall. |

don't even try to do ghoulborn. - -davies-
Thats why we call him Z2 or 'wasted draft pick'.
He plays on a really good junior team in the WHL. |

Holy crap, Kelwona's actually leading over Portland? Wow. I did not realize that.
Edit: Ryan Pulock has 21 goals and 55 points for a 7th-place team. Just sayin... |

Homer could easily get value for both Downie and Mez. I think asking for a 2nd round pick for Mez is just right.
One guy I'd personally be interested in is Ron Hainsey. I could see Carolina parting with him for Downie or Mez straight up, as he's an UFA whose unlikely to resign. Carolina is also (SUPPOSEDLY) trying to cut salary per Dreger, to the point where they could move Jordan Staal.
I don't really care who goes where and for what quite frankly. As long as the end result is a more competitive hockey club. I will say, however, that I don't wholeheartedly support a trade for Ryan Kesler or a similar player. If we are going to move significant assets (Brayden Schenn+), we better be getting a high caliber dman, not another forward.

Kind of messed up... 3/8 current PO seeds in the East have a negative goal differential. |

Gotcha.
It's a shame. I really like Damon Severson, but he's a Devils' pick. |

Yeah really wild that Philly's record/standing is where it is and they're still -6 for the year. |

I think it speaks to their inability to stop a team on a run. It seems like when things go bad, they go real bad. I can remember several 5-6-7 goal losses, but I don't remember them winning many games like that. |

Shhhh, quiet you.
Actually, it's because I used Be A Pro on NHL 14, and my character played for Kelowna because that's the same team Weber play ed for. And then I got a little familiar with the players, started to follow them and started to really like him. |

Yeah, they've had a few bad losses (Chicago, Dallas, Columbus I think, Washington, etc.) but aside from Ottawa and Edmonton, I don't think they've had any 4+ goal wins. |

ESPN covers hockey? Did the NHL start replacing the puck with a basketball and allow players to jump and slam dunk? |

They heard Jonathan Drouin was the LeBron James of hockey -- it piqued the network's interest. |

Ive never seen him play, but from what I read, he has the potential to be a steady two-way defenseman.
Having Larsson be this far behind in his development is a real detriment to the Devils. I think they were banking on him developing into a top pairing defenseman in a few years. He still might, but things haven't been good for him.
They said he was the most NHL ready defenseman in the draft and that Dougie Hamilton was a raw prospect who would take a while. Hamilton has passed Larsson. |

Sam Woo guaranteed me that Larsson was the steal of the draft.
By the way, is Dougie Hamilton still there clear-cut better player than Couturier as was widely discussed on here last year? |
