Yeah. He is one of those guys I despise. Dunno why. - Flyersgod
I like Coots more than B Schenn because I see Coots make consistent, effective plays every game. He might not score but he reads plays exceptionally well. I enjoy watching him play - and as a fan that's important! However his girlfriend needs to smack him for the mountain man look. I HATE the beard.
I don't dislike Schenn - don't get me wrong. I hold my breath every time he starts doing well because everytime I think he's going to take that next step in his development he regresses and vanishes again.
I'm not ready to give up on him - I do think he's shown some very interesting glimmers of an incredible scoring touch. I'm just not sure if we will have the patience or the space for him when push comes to shove. |

His value can't be zero/negative though. I mean if he was waived someone would likely claim him so he must carry some value. |

Nope. He's the 5th overall pick from the 2008 draft. He's inching his way up to becoming a first pairing, defensive defenseman. All he has to do is leap over 2 pairings. |

HA!
Why don't we throw in a couple of first-round picks, just to make sure we feel nice and brutalized when we're done?
And it's not like I'm saying that Kesler and Edler are bad players. But Edler's got back issues and the Flyers would be trading 23, 22, 21 and 19 year old players -- Good Lord. You might as well just start letting people make your draft picks!

Was his speed a factor or did it hold him back?
I cant remember anything from that goal but the sweet little move he put on Henrik - jak521
his speed was an asset i'd say.
great coordination to stay onsides and kick the puck from his back skate to his stick. really a tremendously skilled play. |
