I tried it once after an Eagles loss, thoroughly enjoyed it at first but anymore than 15 minutes is probably a threat to your mental health.

Never said skating was a problem.

As always, people misinterpret a post and fill in the blanks on their own.

I'm sorry guys... I will no longer ever talk critically of one of ours until you guys approve of it first.

Jeez dude, lighten up.

His value can't be zero/negative though. I mean if he was waived someone would likely claim him so he must carry some value.
- Nucker101

He hasn't been phenomenal this season but what many on here have forgottten is that last season he played a strong game for us when everyone went down hurt. And did a fine job. I cringe when I think about our D without him last season. Unfortunately he didn't carry that success over to this season.

I get the feeling that Berube is not a fan of his and he would sit in the press box a lot more if not for the hype over the JVR trade and the desire to validate the trade for Holmgren. Where does that leaves him? I dunno. But I won't be shocked to see him sit solidly on our third pairing for a long time to come.

EDIT: But don't listen to me. I have a serious soft spot for defensive defensemen - says the woman who owns a Grossmann jersey.

his speed was an asset i'd say.

great coordination to stay onsides and kick the puck from his back skate to his stick. really a tremendously skilled play.

- Briere

ah thats right.. he got the puck right around the blue line.. great play

I saw something today that said the Flyers were 28-14-5 in their last 47 games -- obviously, more than half a season of games, and 2/3 of the number of games they've played.

As much as I hate seeing some of the same old poop out of the same players...they don't have to do anything. Right now, they're in the playoffs, with just a tiny bit of breathing room -- not a ton, but a little bit.

Like everybody else, I'm dreaming of more mobility on defense. Or more Hockey IQ in a few roster spots. But I don't just want some guy who skates fast -- we all want a true, Top 4 defenseman who we can roll out there for 21 minutes a night, in all situations.

That guy is not available, and we shouldn't burn any assets until that guy is -- if that guy ever is.

We missed the playoffs with Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier learning how to play in this league. And if rumors are true, we wouldn't move them for Shea Weber.

If you can miss the freaking playoffs while waiting for guys to mature, and one year later you are in a playoff spot, and you maybe wouldn't trade them for Shea Weber, then (frank) it -- dance with who brought you!

What would the Flyers have to add onto SchennBros to get Edler and Kesler. Not that I would be overly thrilled about that trade. Also, if that trade does go down, do you think its likely Lecavalier gets moved?

I think more salary needs to be moved. Not 100% though. Maybe Mez would have to be part of the deal.

I thought Schenn was playing real well in what was about the 7 games leading up to the break.

He was meh against the Caps but I think we're witnessing a turnaround of sorts. Hopefully he keeps it up.

This is unanswerable, since I don't think I'd move B Schenn in a deal for either of them.
