They should have just had Indiana Jones capture everyone's attention with his good looks to distract them while they systematically took the death star apart piece by piece.

The Flyers would have to make other moves to create the cap space needed to make that trade.

with Meszaros, Rosehill and even Gill gone that would create almost 5.5-6 mil....Downie ? Matt Read ? Im sure most of these guys could be moved out and the cap minipulated to work....but who knows what else would happen...Frankly they are stupid if they give up too much for that package....I guess we will see how much Holmgren is commited to the youth ?
As I have stated if it meant bringing in a younger cornerstone type D man then I could stomach Schenn or Couturier....
