Keep in mind that the Flyers will still need depth for the playoffs. And will need a 7th defenseman, and depth forwards. As well as some cap space in case of injuries down the stretch.

keep in mind I think its a bad deal.....maybe they think some of the depth will come from the Phantoms?
my point is its the type of deal where by Holmgren probably can make the #s work if he wants to....

Kesler staying in Van and being a leader there makes the most sense to me.

Why resign the Sedins to extensions if you are going to go for a rebuild?

I will admit I don't know anything about his play right about now. So feel free to correct me.
What I do know is Mez is playing pretty well right now, had a good olympics and could help a team (including us) in the play-offs.

Now that Vancouver has rid itself of Jeff Costello and aquired Patrick Mullen, they can do the Kesler for Philadelphia's future deal.

Expanded Universe. All the books, comics, web-novella's are part of the EU. It just expands the stories of the characters in SWs. With the new movies coming out its going to really mess up the current EU, but until that happens, there are about 40 years worth of SW to immerse yourself in. Very good reading IMO.

I'd move the Sedins before Kesler if they were actually on the table. But this team is on the decline, time to sell on guys before they lose value due to contract term shortening and getting older. It's why I'd consider dealing Bieksa instead of Edler. The Sedins are hard-working players on and off the ice and good leaders by example to keep around for upcoming players.


Brian Lawton says the Canucks are one of 3 teams interested in Ehrhoff so I really have no idea what's going on if this is true.
