RT @LavoieRenaud Ducks are one of the teams who are looking to trade for Ryan Kesler.
This is from the guy who broke the Luongo trade. - fiveandagame

Robidas for a 4th may be the trade of the day. Good move by ANA. - AlexF
A guy with a broken leg.....
More like a risk imo. He may come back and be ok, but he may never be what he was prior ever again... |

He's definitely legit. I just prefer the centrepiece coming back to be a player like B.Schenn, still has upside, is young but proven to be effective in the NHL. I'd prefer dealing with Anaheim over Pittsburgh.
I still am betting against a Kesler deal but who knows? - Nucker101
I was betting against it up until the Luongo trade. Now Gillis is commited. He pretty much has to trade Kesler now. |

That's a good deal.
And then with Vatenen they could flip Edler to Detroit for a forward. |

Vatanen projects to be a really good PMD. Silfverberg is projected to be a top 6 sniper. If that first is Ottawa's that's likely in the 15ish range. I'd take that. |

Just turned 26. But yeah, I don't see a whole lot of upside to what he already is. |

That doesn't sound like a bad deal and we get a chance to boo Kesler when we play the Ducks. |

Bowling shoes so I slide on the ice better.
Side note* if you play goal in floor hockey I suggest 'borrowing' a pair of bowling shoes from your local alley. |

Reading some of the ridiculous posts from Leafs fans.... Can you imagine how obnoxious they would be if they actually won a playoff round?
The few Sharks / Leafs games I have ever went to in SJ it was embarrassing to say I was Canadian. Low class all the way. Complete $#it $#ow

Love the how did Lou take it
Gillis: he took it weellll
I imagine Lou was jumping with joy that he was going back to Florida where he want to go. All I can picture is Lou jumping around like a child. - Yeti1181
Lu was seen running down Main Street in Glendale doing 6 consecutive cartwheels and finishing off with a triple lutz |

As I was typing that post it was in the back of my head, without much conviction, you make it to the playoffs then anything can happen.
I also don't think the difference in picks will be significant from just outside of the playoffs to making it by the skin of our teeth... so why not make it? Or at least be pleasantly be deluded. |
