I'm fine with any team that gives us a decent return.

If we send cash back the recapture penalty is a lot less if any. We have 2 good backups and another centre. I don't think it gets any better for either side in this situation. Everyone can laugh it up all they want and talk about what an idiot Gillis is but he actually got return and the player involved got what he wanted in the end. The only loss is that this fiasco took so long to play out. Still Imo player and GM both look like d!cks lets hope the fallout they can keep their mouths shut and keep some dignity. The only guy who looks OK now is Torts he played Lack in the heritage because he was a told to do it and he kept his mouth shut in the process. I for one am feeling a lot better about him knowing he can keep his mouth shut with players and his coaching staff I doubt they knew either.

If they can transform way he and Perry play against each other into on ice chemistry look out. I would hate to see him on any other team though. All of these are teams I hate a lot.

He was chuckling at the end... must be a weight off his shoulders to have Lu traded. I wonder if he had to get permission to pull the trigger? Guessing it was previously set parameters in an acceptable trade.

If Kesler is moved for a top6 roster player that is a bit of a sniper or playmaker, good prospect and 1st round pick.. then it will be a great tdl. If one of our big money dmen is moved for similar or immediate scoring for next season it will be a different ball game next season.

Anaheim isn't moving Fowler. Etem is another forward prospect of theirs, played junior with Shinkaruk and lit it up big time.

Interesting part was when he said that even back when this team was rolling in December he didn't think they were true contenders...or something along those lines. And yeah, I think he's pretty happy with that trade judging from his mood.
