Im not saying he hasn't been decent in the playoffs before. I'd imagine he scored goals during the regular season in those years. You think he's just gonna say (frank) it and start banging in goals this years playoffs? He hasn't scored a goal all year. Ville Leino was a beast in the playoffs

I agree that by last year Gillis was (frank)ed. I think everyone in the world except Gillis and Scooby understood this. His mistakes were in what got him to that point.

Actually if you listen to Botchford on the 1040 today several deals were available at the draft and Lu said no to all of them seeing he thought he was going to Fla. you can't blame Gillis for that.

He picked up two prospects today so not untraceable.

The rest of the league has taken notice. The Vancouver Canucks now have the best goalie tandem in the NHL. You have just witnessed the birth of a dynasty.

He gets Lu one of the most lucrative contracts in NHL history and then gets fired for it. Explain why. Because the terms of the contract handcuffed the canucks and Lu when things didn't work out.

Figure it out Carlton. Do you really think Gillis was the one who proposed that contract? It was demanded or Lu would have walked.
