I'll take the player, prospect and 2 picks. It's not like Kesler has been a picture of health his entire career. He's a helluva player when healthy but the problem is he's rarely healthy for even a full season. Take the package and run.....unless the Flyers or Ducks offer up something more substantial.

With Mattias it has become a little redundant regarding Sutter but, if we were able to get a pouliot or maatna + then we could either flip them or, move one of our top 4 D....

I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm going to pony up the $20 on a season ticket and find out what happens.

Exactly. Although I don't see Matthias as a strong 3LC to be honest. But Sutter isn't a significant upgrade on him IMO.


Pouliot, Bennett, 1st seems like the best realistic scenario if Kesler gets moved tomorrow. (frank), I wonder what we'd get if Kesler wasn't so picky.

Gillis has really sh!t the bed though. This is like Milbury type of mess, and eff up.

The guy just lacks the exciting speed/hands needed for a player of that stature to be effective in the NHL. Just my opinion. I fully believe he has the IQ and decent hands/speed, but he seems like a legit tweener.

Handcuffed with him though, doubt we could get anything for him. With the roster we have, and a possible Santo resigning, if one of Gaunce or Horvat make the team next year, he's and AHLer for life
