People are excited about something new to watch and dissect. It has been stale and I hunger for it as well. But good god, please fire him before he trades Kesler.

Depends how serious ANH is.

Also haven't wanted to wade through the TO trolls to see if any news has come out about ANH backing out.

There hasn't been a legit update since that original tweet. I asked over in the Kesler thread and most of the Canuck guys said that the ANA fans are okay with that deal. I'd love that deal.

I want Gillis gone more than anyone.. but this move was a solid move. And is definitely a much better return than anyone predicted. Obviously the recapture penalty is a bit concerning.. but at this point.. didn't sound like a buy out was an option for FA anyways.

Is Matthias a game changer? No.. but he is a nice pick up and Markstrom was touted as the #1 prospect in the world a couple years ago and did some very impressive stuff in the AHL.

Im interested to see what tomorrow brings... this team needs to move ONE of kesler or edler and bring in great pieces to consider this year even a small success. It at least progresses this team in some way.
