I dunno, Schneider did pretty well sitting on the bench, and it only took half a season of Lack sitting on the bench to become a starter. Who knows, by the end of the season Markstrom could be the starter.

The best way to make it as a goalie in this league is to hand out towels in Van.

Yeh I got it but if Markstrom is going to develop he needs playing time and he probably isn't going to get it sitting on the bench.

Player of the Month i believe and besides, how good can a goalie be behind that Florida team?

I'd say send him down to Utica for a stint to catch up on the system then lets see what he can do behind the likes of Hamhuis, Bieksa, Edler, Tanev, Garrison, Stanton etc

That's why i have faith in the ability to turn our team around in a quick fashion, we have one of the steadiest defensive units in the league, we are not going about it in the same way as Edmonton, Florida, Winnipeg Calgary etc.

Inject some youth (and health) into the forward ranks next season, and we are back in the playoff picture.

This is absolutely true. We can't score to save our lives but the defence and Lack have been keeping us in games. We need a scorer to save this sinking ship. I don't think trading Kesler right now is the smart thing to do.
