Is that a new thing?

MSL trade was desperate move by Rangers but as a Nucks fan I love it. This means Phi and Pit has to step up to keep pace. Expect an insane offer from Holmgram for Kes and even Edler. Retool, Reset Bold move processed.

I would like Read, B Schenn and Vinny plus 3rd

For Kesler + Edler

Honest, non trolling question. What would you have done in Gillis's shoes concerning the Lou and Schneider situation last season?
- Whiskey-Tango

One of the two would have already been gone so nothing. Lets not forget that they had planned to deal Schneider long before this all started and stalled stalled and stalled.

...and yes, I warned of the due date on a GT trade was gone and going to (frank) us. Last season I said on here that we kept a GT that didnt want to be here.... we are going to lose both.

A few of us knew this would happen. I just though it would happen a lot sooner.

Here is what the reaction will be IMO. Pit will get TT to backup Fluery and they will get a Depth D. Maybe Nick Shultz.

Philly will need to do something to keep up. They will need to shore up D and get the Shutdown guy to stop Malkin And Crosby line and The Nash and MSL line. Hello Kesler and Edler. Phi will need to shed Salary and the glutz of Centers. Schenn and Vinny. Read is a top 6 potential and 3rd is to get the deal closed before 3pm.

I wonder if there is any truth to rumor that Gillis doesnt have the green light from management to deal Kesler. That would most likely mean the Luongo trade was his last roster move.... and the final fail that cost him his job.

The did get MacDonald from NYI. Whether they think that "shores up" their D is yet to be seen.

I think that will be their only main acquisition on the back end, though.

Several people have confirmed Gillis has green light to move Kesler... if the price is right.

If Gillis doesn't trade Kesler today, it means he will be fired before the draft.
