Florida has no NHL goalie signed beyond this year with Clemmensen going on waivers and Thomas signed to 1 year deal....I'm surprised there is no buzz about Lu to the Panthers?

Disagree. Meddling owners are a death sentence for franchises. I know they own the team and want input(so would I), but I believe that the best run franchises trust their management group fully.

Disagree. Meddling owners are a death sentence for franchises. I know they own the team and want input(so would I), but I believe that the best run franchises trust their management group fully.

"What the Canucks are asking for Kesler is reasonable enough that you can tell they will move him," one exec said. "What they wanted for [Alex] Edler is unreasonable enough that you can tell they don't want to move him." Unless, of course, the return is massive.

This paragraph right here sums up the next 24 hours in Vancouver. Gillis will try to drive the price up on Kesler and blow it in the end and the Edler piece speaks for itself.

On the idea of acquiring someone that would be perfect under Torts. Who cares, his style of coaching is not useful in the NHL. Their 'style of hockey' is incredibly boring and have lost almost all interest.
