7 minutes.

Lets all hope Holmgren had a great attack of diarrhea and is glued to the toilet.

He has been far and away our best offensive weapon from the back end
- jak521

Which is why I'm not ecstatic like a lot of other people. You need a guy like that back there.

Hopefully Streit picks up the slack?

More offensive pop =/= better defensemen

What a (frank)ing toolbag

- Giroux_Is_God

Unfortuntely, there is no stat that can predict the amount of goals a dman will prevent each season. So--in the eyes of some, its all about goals scored.

No it is a third. Its a late third round pick.

I dont understand how people call an early third round pick 'essentially a 2nd' and a late third round pick 'essentially a 4th'.

You guys do know the 4th round comes AFTER the 3rd round, right?

RT @capgeek: Meszaros trade means #Flyers could add cap hit of close to $6.4M if they wish.

I've never heard of this cap room thing???

Yeah but an early 4th is essentially a late third.

If I'm Gillis and I'm already (frank)ed, I wouldn't either -- you can't lose this trade. You can't get a guy you know won't work!

Possible, but maybe not -- Bruins had the room, with Seidenberg on LTIR

I would guess. Not sure the Bruins are hurting for funds though.

If I were management, I wouldn't even let him make the deal. I would fire him then let the new GM make the deal this offseason.

So logically, Clarke and Homer have actually hated 3rd round picks (not late 2nd round picks).

I'll go back and edit all the posts dating back to 2005.

Nope. Freeing up money to sign Schenn et al along with D help in the offseason, most likely
