One of the best periods I've seen the Flyers play all year. Skating hard and playing fast. Winning board battles, playing as a 5 man unit up and down the ice. Good defense and puck movement. I swear, I don't want to ever read how they're a slow team. They are not when they play how they're capable of.

That was a clear screw up by the ref. If that call had stayed it would have made a good case for giving each coach one challenge during the game.

perfect summary. they aren't a speedy team but that doesn't matter when you play like you stated. when they look extremely slow its because they are standing around, not in position, and playing with no hockey sense... which is a much larger problem than speed.

You have to admit, they look awful slow when they just glide across the ice without moving their feet and their sticks safely in the air where they'll never be in position to break up a pass. You've seen them do this more than once, I know you have.

Other thing I do like, is how they are targeting Green. That's playoff mentality.

It's a shame that Lecavalier got a game. he looked up on his skates and ready to go early.
