This team handles adversity well. But will they ever learn not to take their foot off of the gas?

Let's not get carried away.
I bet he doesn't pull that maneuver again though.

Unfortunate that the Leafs let the Rags get a point tonight, but the Flyers did take care of business tonight and put even a little more space between them and the pack.

They beat the Leafs in regulation on Saturday...they might be able to exhale for a minute or two

well, at least the Flyers rescued a mostly-feel-good win out of the what-a-gut-wrenching-collapse fire ... so, all in all, it was a fun nite.

If this team ever figures out how to play 60 minutes we might have a nice, little playoff run.

This sitting on leads poop ain't working out.

Really sloppy third after two fantastic periods. Horrible PK coverage.

- Jsaquella

THeyre a difficult PK to defend. I thought Luke Schenn shouldn't have gone down to the ice on the ovechkin goal. He could have pressured Backstrom instead of letting him pick his lane to pass through.

They just have to worry about their own knitting. It's nice when other division teams lose, but the Flyers need to keep getting points.

Which, based on this game, means they'll go into a funk and lose 4 or so in a row

Yeah, not taking away from the Caps, they have a fantastic PP. But the Flyers got to running around pretty badly. Read had a really rough go on the one, with two or three failed clears, and the 4 on 4 one, it seemed Coburn and Timonen had a breakdown

Flyers 8 - 2 over their last 10 games ... best in the NHL.

It's a good time of the year to play good hockey.

The 4v4 goal really bothered me the most. Just poor communication. That can't happen.

I did -- at least the back-to-back is a home-and-home with Pitt, so they aren't at a disadvantage.

I mean, look. We can all read. It's murderous. But they gotta find a way to win some of these, at least at home

Read...it's not easy, and I realize that. I do.

But when you get two chances to clear, you gotta do that. It's why you're out there

Yeah, and he usually does. He and Couturier are both among the best PK guys in the NHL. But it burned them tonight.

Far better to nitpick a win than to try and find jewels in the ashes of a loss
