Not true. The real return for Vanek was the draft picks we got. If we can turn Moulson into something else, great. If not, well then we still end up on the better end of things than if Vanek walks from the Isles for nothing.

Absolutely love it. Fasching is going to be a top 6 stud in a few years. And Deslauries has really impressed people since becoming a forward. Can hit and fight too

Simply trying to make it clear that if Murray does not move Moulson for anything at this deadline he a complete failure in my opinion.
Something is better than nothing at this point.
If you can get a 2nd that you lost in the deal with LA, at least get that back.

I really have faith he'll be a competent top 6 defender for years to come. He kept slipping through the depth chart, so as far as I'm concerned, he wasn't necessary to be here. We need forwards so badly and I'm so excited we've picked up 3 so far.
