Eh I wouldnt say it was a failure. He got a good return in Miller and Ott. Garth Snow looks a lot worse than any of the Sabres Gm's if he cant move Vanek. That being said if he isnt moved there wont be a contract extension talk until the Sabres get back to Buffalo in a week

If you remove Moulson out of the equation for Vanek, we still got a good return on guy that was going to walk in FA anyway. If we can get something for Moulson, it's a bonus. If not, I'm not going to cry about it.
