Fasching is your prototypical big power forward. He has great hands for a player with his size and is a surprisingly good skater with a powerful stride. He works well in the corners and is not afraid to muck it up in the dirty areas of the ice and in front of the net. He was an all-situations player for the USNTDP and showed great promise as a skilled two-way player, penalty killer, and leader. Consistency has been an issue with Fasching, but if a team can get him dialed in and playing every shift and every game with the same intensity he has a lot of promise. Fasching has committed to the University of Minnesota for the fall and will join a solid program in the NCAA. Fasching has a lot of skill to work with and the college route could help him find that consistency and every day approach to the game that has eluded him thus far. He will have three to four years to figure it out before going pro and the Kings have always seemed to have patience with college players.

ill be honest, if either TT, pearson, or vey had been moved I would have been upset.

But if the kings could have worked out a deal with vey being the center piece, for moulson that would have been best.
