Vanek for a 2014 2nd and Collberg.

I'd say that's pretty damn good compared to what Vanek got.

We did lose McMuscle but still if thats the official trade I would think TM did very well with a dumpster fire of a roster with 3 (then 4) pending UFA's and traded them all and got a good return

If it's a 2014 2nd from Minnesota, it originally belonged to Winnipeg. We own their this year already (Pommer).

Good point, that was a decent waiver wire pickup.

Not a home run, but we did pretty well.

By the way, TM is locked into the NHL old boys network - and he's made what I would call equitable trades with St Louis, Washington and the Wild here. It's not a bad thing to develop trust and relationships with other GMs.

I don't count Snow because a) that wasn't TM's trade and b) he can't possibly be a GM still next year.
