Even with things the way they are, we're still in a better position than those teams, the islanders may be the exception with the good young forward group they have. They desperately need new ownership and management though.

Well the Sedins with Burrows has worked before as a first line so no I don't think so. Hard to have predicted the injuries and lack of scoring. Of course not having a legit second line has put's pressure on the 1st line.

My point was more that, if the Sedins hadn't dried up and/or faced injuries I don't think the Canucks would be on the outside looking in.

Horvat and possibly Grenier are the only ones I could see getting ice time, the others need to develop more.

Coaching and injuries piled onto the natural decline of our core players. Who're still good players. Lack of depth is what really killed the team if you look at it honestly. That lies directly on GMMG's doorstep.

Having had some time to think about the deadline now... I'm fine with it. I had mentally prepared myself that Kes was going, but it's nice to be able to still cheer for him. Still not excited to deal with all this sideshow crap once again in the summer though.

Actually you could probably skip the cream and just add more Baileys.

Probably one of the greatest discoveries I have ever made was figuring out how to make homemade Baileys. Makes Christmas Holidays so much better.
