Possible. Still speculation.

The recent PIT offer is even worse than what was proposed earlier, though, so I'm glad he didn't go in that deal.

His value won't go down between now and the summer (unless he gets injured ), so I'm happy they held on in this case.

I personally am looking forward to cheering against the Canucks for the rest of the year.

I am 110% behind in #tanknation: sit the Sedins to rest up for next year. As well as sit Kesler and Booth to prevent injuries until we can figure out to do with them this off-season. This year is a complete write off as fair as I'm concerned.

I am hoping this injury - time away for Daniel is good for his head.

Artisimov and Johansen .

NY I think Callahan plus.

If the right deals not there, you don't force it.

At what point do people realize that the reason Gillis is getting poop offers is because he is GILLIS.

I would love to have Burke righting this ship right now. This team needs a no nonsense hockey mind. Not a ex player agent turned "manager".

No way CBJ was trading Johansen. I saw reports that he was virtually untouchable.

I'd keep Kesler over Callahan any day.

Hopefully this kid is starting to get it.

His line with O'Reilly and Defazio/Pelletier (Grenier's been injured so they've filled in on that line) have been creating chances almost every shift the last fee games

You buying what Gillis and Co are saying about his NHL readiness?

Then his stock might dip a little, depending on the severity.

Still not a big enough risk to take a lesser package.

And I wouldn't be so eager to believe the NYR and CLB rumours...

I don't believe that for a minute, other GM's could give a flying (frank) who they're talking to, if they want a player they'll give what they feel is fair for the market.

If a GM is not making his team better to spite someone he should be fired instantly.

I thought he was ready after his stint in Sweden, but I've changed my tune.

His shot is easily NHL calibre, and his strength the last half the season looks close.

But I don't think his head is quite ready for the NHL full time.

I think the AHL is the best place for him right now.

Yup.

Didn't see it, but apparently he used the patented Forsberg tuck-in move.

Look what Sather gave up for a 38 yr old, the players from those picks could play for 10 yrs after MSL is retired.

#Canucks prospect Cole Cassels extended his point-streak to nine games with two assists tonight. Now has 70 points (23-47-70) in 58 games.

Third round pick from the Booth deal

A pending UFA, a 1st & 2nd round pick. I want more for Kesler than two draft picks. Also, they could turn into nothing. The picks.

Maybe its his negotiating tactic? I never fully understood going in with a shopping list of what the team needed. Let the suitors offer what they may, and work off of their deals.
